The Connecticut Sun's future home arena is still uncertain, but the team will play at least one game at TD Garden in Boston and two games at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford during the 2026 season. The Sun's regular-season schedule was released on Wednesday, featuring a 44-game slate from May to September. ESPN reported in December that the Houston Rockets' ownership group was in talks to purchase and relocate the Sun, with Boston Celtics minority owner Steve Pagliuca making an offer to buy the team and move it to Boston. Former Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry matched Pagliuca's offer with a plan to move the team to Hartford. However, the WNBA Board of Governors ultimately decided against Pagliuca's offer, stating that it was not the individual teams but the board that decides on relocations. Connecticut's 24th season will begin on the road, with the Sun playing at the Barclays Center against the New York Liberty on May 8 at 7:30 p.m. They will return to Uncasville two days later to open their home slate with a game against the Seattle Storm on May 10 at 1 p.m. The TD Garden game will take place on August 18 at 7 p.m., continuing a three-year stint in Boston. The Sun will host the Los Angeles Sparks in a game that has sold out each of the past two seasons. Connecticut will also add two games in Hartford, playing the Sparks on May 30 at 6 p.m. and former UConn standout Paige Beckers and the Dallas Wings on July 2 at 8 p.m. in PeoplesBank Arena. Other key dates include three Commissioner's Cup games at home, with the Sun playing against the New York Liberty, Indiana Fever, and Washington Mystics. Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever will play at Mohegan Sun Arena on June 13, and the WNBA Champion Las Vegas Aces will play in Uncasville on May 13 and May 15.
